Who We Are
Havana Cafe started as a dream in Chef Andy’s mind in the summer of 2022. With a craving of Cuban food but no where to go, Andy started on a journey to bring Eugene the complex and delicious flavors he grew up with. 1st generation Cuban/American, raised Los Angeles, and becoming a man in the US Military, Andy has had quite the life.
Using locally hand crafted breads from Reality Kitchen, while sticking to some Cuban must haves imported, Havana Cafe has curated a perfect fusion of Local Cuban. Serving Cuban staples such as world famous Cuban coffee and moms Secret Mojo sauce, Havana Cafe puts a little slice of Cuba in the heart (and stomach) of Eugenians.

Cuban cuisine is largely based on Spanish cuisine with influence from African and other Caribbean cuisines.Some Cuban recipes share spices and techniques with Spanish, African and Taino cooking, with some Caribbean influence in spice and flavor. This results in a blend of the several different cultural influences.
